The M4-M6 Motorway accepts the following payment methods at their Toll Plazas:

- Credit Card
- Cash
- Prepayment Cards

eToll Electronic Tolling
Electronic Tolling offers the customer the most convenient, easy and hassle free means of payment through our toll plazas.
In order to avail fo this service just go to
www.tagcompare.ie and select the option that suits you best.
Electronic tags are provided by a wide range of tag suppliers, all Irish electronic tags work at the M4 Motorway.
So, why should you use a tag?
- Your journey will be faster
- You will be able to avail of our ETC dedicated tag lanes
- You won't need to carry cash with you
- You can use your electronic tag at all the other toll plazas in Ireland.

Credit/Debit Cards
Credit and Debit cards are accepted in all lanes including semi automatic lanes (this excludes the express lanes
which are exclusively for tag users).
Using your card is much easier than paying by cash and only takes about 5 seconds. There's no need for a signature or a PIN number, no surcharges are made and receipts are available in all lanes.
We currently accept
VISA and
Mastercard credit and debit cards. Please note American Express are currently not accepted.
Cash
Payment can me made in Euros at both manned and semi - automatic lanes.
As an additional service to our customers Sterling and U.S. Dollars are also accepted at manned lanes. However we do not offer exchange rates for these currencies.
Copper coins are also
not accepted in these lanes.
Pre Payment Cards
Prepayment cards can be purchased at our Customer Service Office. These cards offer the customer a discount of 10% on the appropriate toll charge, when the customer prepays for 20 trips.
